The Basement Watchdog Battery-Operated Water Alarm is designed to detect leaks before expensive water damage is caused. The alarm sounds when as little as 1/32” of water reaches the sensor.   A 110 dB is activated that will provide an early warning for water damage. Can be placed directly on floors or mounted for installation in a variety of locations: in a sump pit, near water heaters, refrigerators or dishwashers, next to washing machines, under sinks, close to air conditioner drain tubes, etc. Accidents happen… water heaters rust and leak, laundry tubs overflow, pipes break.
